Parker is officially 9 months old. The months feel like they just fly by now with him, he's going to be a year old before I know it. He had his well check today. He is 28 inches tall, which puts him in the 40th percentile. He weighs 18 lbs 13 oz. 25th percentile and his head is 44.5 cm also in the 25th percentile. So he's a bit of a small fry but we'll keep him! He's getting so fun now. Still not crawling, but I'm sure once he figures it out he'll move quickly to walking. He's still a little jumping bean. He could jump all day if you let him. Still loves his puppy, he's laughing at him as I write this. He loves people, he lets anyone and everyone hold him. I think he loves the attention ( he's not spoiled at all;) Hates his car seat still, and I can't say I blame him. For being not that tall his head is almost right at the top of the seat. Mostly I think he just hates being restrained. He never just sits still, he's definitely a busy body. He says dada and I think even mama, but mostly it's just a yelling contest lately. He knows how to use his sippy cup, although he still likes to throw it instead of drink sometimes. He's never been a big eater, he usually only eats 4 ozs at a time. He's been really good about solids. He tries everything and besides peas he's liked everything, he'd probably even eat those if it was on my plate. I call him a social eater because he wants to eat whenever anyone else is eating, which I guess comes with the age. He's now working on the skill of picking up finger foods. He has his two bottom teeth and will have two more on the top here shortly, but for now I'm enjoying his little toothy smile just the way it is, especially when his nose crinkles up. Everyone says how cute he is, and I'm not biased at all, but I think he's the cutest baby around. It's his big blue eyes and crazy long eyelashes. And thank goodness he's sleeping much better these days, except when he get's teeth and right now he's had a stuffy nose. Let's be honest though the good nights seem few and far between at 2:00 in the morning. And that is Parker in a nutshell.

Parker is such a cutie! I love that first picture with his hair going in all different directions, so funny. When he is older the girls are totally going to be jealous of him with those long long eye lashes, I know I am.
ReplyDeleteI don't think he could be any cuter Ashlee! He has so much hair. I hope Jovi gets some sooner than later.
ReplyDeleteSo fun! I hope you have a Merry Christmas! I don't think I've been this excited for Christmas since I was little. I think it's cause I'm a mom and can't wait for Jovi to open her presents (well with a little help of course=) Take care!
Oh, and you aren't the only one who likes Parker's little toothy grin! Adorable.
