This is one of those post where I get to be all gushy and say how much I love being a mom, but I do! These two are such a blessing in my life. I love this time with them, and I'm so blessed to be their mom and even better stay at home with them! Parker has really grown up these last few months and he has turned into such a good big brother! I love to watch them play together. Parker loves to get Bridger to laugh and chase him around the house. I love the relationship they've already started to form and can't wait for the years to come (minus the part where they get older.) Anyway, again heres a few pictures of the two of them.

Steel Days Parade
So this Steel Days Frank's grandma was honored as the Grand Marshall for their contribution to the community through Parker's Drive In. So we all got to ride in the parade with her..some of us were just lucky enough to ride in the truck with the A/C on and windows rolled up, lol what a scrooge! Anyway these are just a couple pictures from the parade.
Bridger's first driving lesson..he did great:)
Summer Reading
So I'm not going to lie, I'm a little obsessed with Pinterest, but it's so full of amazing ideas and it's really helped me be a more productive stay at home mom..minus the countless hours spent on the computer (but my house has never been so clean, thank you pinterest:) It's my thing to do while the kids are asleep, although I've started indexing for the church but I'm not very good, but that's a whole other story. Anyway my point is I've seen a lot of really neat ideas and one that I've kind of implemented in our home is reading with Parker. That's one thing I've kind of slacked with him, but this summer we've really started reading and then we do little activities to go along with the story. It's been a lot of fun. So far we've read Chica Chica Boom Boom, Green Eggs and Ham, Hop on Pop, One Fish Two Fish Blue Fish Green Fish, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, If You Give a Moose a Muffin, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, and several others that I can't think of at the moment. Anyway these are just a few of the pictures from our reading adventures!

This is how Parker fishes...throwing rocks
Our first fish!
For Steel Days the firemen come with a latter truck and spray all the kids..Parker wanted nothing to do with that, but after being convinced he enjoyed running in the mud!
These pictures speak for themselves:)
Parker dancing at the SheDaisy concert
We've had kind of an uneventful summer as far as vacations. We had planned a camping trip, but we all took turns having the flu that week instead so we never made it, but we've had several trips fishing, feeding the ducks, picnics at the park, and swimming. Despite no vacation we've still had plenty of fun!

Summer Lovin'
We are just loving the nice weather, especially the days we can get out and go for walks aka park hop. Not much new with us, more colds, more ear infections, but that's pretty much the norm these days! I keep saying this will hopefully be the last, but unfortunately we get just long enough in between to get Bridger sleeping better and then were all struck with a cold and back to square one, oy! Besides that we feel very blessed. Frank has applied for grad school at BYU so we'll see how that goes. It'll only be once a week so hopefully not as crazy as the whole Monday through Friday, but time will only tell. Parker just keeps getting bigger everyday. He's becoming the sweetest most amazing little boy. He loves singing primary songs, and has learned "I love to see the temple, Popcorn, I am a Child of God, and Jesus Wants me for a Sunbeam." He's so funny, I'll sing him the same song for awhile and then out of no where he has the whole thing memorized. He keeps telling me he's big and he's going to go to the temple, he thinks he's going to go play toys with Jesus:) I love this time with him, he loves learning about the gospel and I love teaching it to him! Bridger is also getting so big, he's now 7 months. Everyone teases that he's kind of the runt because he's so little, but he's my little man:) I love him. He's so sweet and is actually a little bit of a mama's boy..just a little:) He rolls all over and loves big brother! All considering the ear infections, sinus infection, pharyngitis, and just yucky colds he's actually a really good baby. I love being a mom, and being able to be at home with them everyday. I'm so blessed with a husband who works so hard to allow me this blessing. I love all my boys!

Being a Parent
Wow, who knew potty training was so draining? Probably everyone who's ever done it. Anyway, It started out a little rough, it was like world war 3 just to get him to put on underwear, but after several bribes he put them on. I knew he was capable of staying dry, it was just his willingness to use the toilet that I was worried about. All in all though he's done really well and I've been so proud of him! All it took was lots of treats and juice, and a few calls from "Thomas the Train" aka Dad and he's officially accident free. It's been such a fun experience for me (I know right?) but I've been so proud of him, I had moments when I felt really discouraged and then he'd do something that made me so proud and excited for him. It feels like he just matured over night and found this new found independence and confidence. If I'm this excited over potty training I can't even imagine how I'll feel one day when he goes on a mission or something major like that. I'm so blessed to be a parent to such beautiful boys!

Three years ago today I gave birth to the sweetest happiest boy ever. Parker is the joy of my life. After 2 miscarriages I felt like he was my miracle baby, it was the happiest day of my life! I still feel blessed everyday by him. He is so full of energy and life, and can always bring a smile to your face. He is turning into a little mini of his dad and it's the sweetest thing ever! He loves tractors, lawnmowers, tillers, saws, 4-wheelers and pretty much anything with a motor or that his dad likes:) He loves when Frank is home and can't wait to go for a 4-wheeler ride or go see grandparents. His love for his family melts your heart. He loves to see his cousins, aunts and uncles, grandparents, and even great grandparents, and its so sweet to see the relationship he has with each of them. We are so blessed to be surrounded by family who love our children as much as we do. I love Parker so much, even when he frustrates me I can't imagine my life without him! We are so blessed to have him and I thank my Heavenly Father daily for blessing us with him.
I'm kinda proud of this cake it turned out so cute

My poor sick baby
We've all just been juggling around colds around here and poor Bridger just seems to get the worst of it every time. His throat was so red and inflamed they even tested him for strep, which thank goodness he didn't have. I finally thought I was going to get lucky with one of those babies that slept good, but due to all the colds and an year infection it's been a little rough at times. I'm hoping to move him in with Parker as soon as he gets feeling better, we'll see how that goes:) Any tips would be much appreciated! All that aside I have to admit he's such a good baby and I can't believe he's already 5 months old!! He's so sweet and very easy going even while being sick all considering he tries to be happy. I can't wait as his little personality continues to peak through over the next few months, so fun!
