Not Crazy After All..At Least Not Completely

Well the Dr's visit was..eventful, Parker has thrush. It's nice to know what's causing him to be so ornery and just start crying out of the blue and not wanting to eat, or acting like he does and then crying when you try to feed him, but it's been hard to have patience. He's been on the medicine for almost a week and still being fussy. I have to give him medicine 5 times a day and treat myself everytime I feed him. It's like a full time job, but I guess that's motherhood, right? If he's distracted it's not as bad but it takes a lot to keep him entertained, needless to say I went and bought him a jumper today. It has been the best investment yet! He loves it! He just wanted to jump all the time and my arms were getting a work out, which is good, but I need a rest sometimes. We just put it together tonight, but so far so good. Anyway, sorry so depressing, I'm really hoping things will get better after this thrush is taken care of. Then we'll work on the formula thing, then the sleeping, and then...

  1. ok so my friends little boy had thrush while she was breastfeeding, and so he had to be on the medicine too. I guess the medicine can upset their stomache...making them really ornery. her little boy was super ornery while on it, but it got better once it was done...so maybe just a little something to look forward to? :) goodluck!

  3. Oh, Ashlee! I wish I could help you out, but I really don't know what kind of advice to give ya. I think going to the doctor's is what I would do. They should have all the answers right? I'm sure you are doing great. Things will get easier for ya. Just know you aren't the one to blame.
Hey, we need to get together sometime. Let's decide on a time and place.
