Happy Anniversary!

November 18th marks mine and Frank's 5 year anniversary! 5 years seems like kind of a long time, but I feel like we were just barely newly weds; although to some we still are. It has been a full and eventful 5 years. Frank has been going to school almost the entire time, but full time only the past 3 years. He graduated this Fall in Technology Management, and is already talking about going back and getting his masters..oy! It has been a lot of hard work and late nights. Frank not only went to school but he has worked more than full time the entire time. He works a lot of extra hours with his job and he also helps out at Parker's Drive Inn ( for those of you who don't know, Parker's is a little burger shop that Frank's grandparents started and is a bit of a legend in American Fork) And I have been working full time as well the entire 5 years at Alpine Credit Union. We felt like we had a pretty busy and full life..until we had Parker:) Nothing can prepare you for a child. We love him so much and he has brought so much joy into our life, but he also has been a huge change for our relationship. As most of you know once you have a child your life is completely different. He has added a totally new dynamic to our relationship..to be frank, it's not all about what we want anymore.
Anyway I love Frank so much, he is my best friend, and he means the world to me, and Parker! We had a great day yesterday. We went up to the Gateway and went to a movie and to Tucano's and got a caramel apple at the Rocky Mountain Choc Factory. It was such a nice day to get out with just the two of us! Thanks for my mom watching Parker and Frank planning the day!

  4. 5 years goes by fast I totally agree. And nothing prepares you for being a parent, it is a whole new life for sure. I complain now but I am sure these are the easier years. Oh boy welcome to parenthood right. all worth it though.

It was good to see you last week. I was talking to Jackie and we should go out to lunch someday or get together sometime.
